Need-Based Grant-in-Aid

Dominican University provides funds that are based strictly on financial need. These grants are part of our effort to make college education affordable for students. The University offers a limited number of need-based grants to undergraduate students annually. These Grant-in-Aid funds are not automatically renewed.  As these funds are need-based, a processed FAFSA is required, and a determination of award is made after all other sources of financial aid are taken into account.  It is the purpose of these funds to be the final source to assist students in meeting the cost of education

Rockland County Employees

Full-time employees of the Rockland County government are eligible for the following tuition reductions:

  • Undergraduate: $350 reduction for every three credits taken online
  • Graduate: $400 reduction for every three credits taken online or in the classroom

The total Federal Work-Study award depends on when a student applies, the level of need, and the funding level of the college.
